Newcastle University Library’s Special Collections are rich and varied: they comprise rare books and other printed works and unique archives that have continued cultural and historical significance. We are committed to making these collections available to the widest possible audience.
Our collection items, dating from the late 14th century to the present day, are defined by their rarity and importance, making them valuable resources for teaching, learning and research.
As part of our Digitisation Strategy and programme, images will be continually added to CollectionsCaptured, ensuring that this resource expands to cover as many of our collection highlights as possible.
If you wish to find out more about our collections and the other services we offer, including consulting the originals, please visit the Special Collections web pages at http://www.ncl.ac.uk/library/specialcollections or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have attempted to ensure that copyright and intellectual property rights have been cleared for all images published on this site. If you believe you have a claim to rights on one of the images and do not wish it to be published in this way, please contact us at email@example.com and we will investigate and remove immediately.
